Technology in Architectural Practice
|
 |
The Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) Knowledge
Community serves as a resource for AIA members, the profession, and
the public regarding the application of computer technology in the
practice of architecture. The TAP Knowledge Community monitors the
development of computer technology and its impact on architecture
practice and the entire building life cycle, from design and
construction through facility management and retirement or reuse.
In addition, TAP advocates for AIA members and other design
professionals with developers of software tools used in the
building enterprise. TAP also collects and disseminates to members
information on best practices related to the use of computer
technology in architecture and construction.
The interdisciplinary culture of TAP educational events provides an
opportunity for sponsors to reach a broad audience. TAP members are
allied with representatives of many other disciplines in the design
and construction industry. These individuals and the entities they
represent are highly qualified prospective customers and business
partners for sponsoring organizations. TAP welcomes as sponsors
companies that share TAP members commitment to improving
architecture practice through technology.
TAP events and publications provide a variety of sponsorship
opportunities throughout the year that can accommodate a diverse
range of marketing strategies. TAP currently consists of more
than 8,200 members.
To discuss sponsorship opportunities and availability, please
contact Doug Paul, Director Professional Practice at dpaul@aia.org or 202-626-7386.
